A circa 1806 restored Georgian house that belonged to the first Municipal Clerk of the Municipality of the District of Chester. Charles Lordly. The main rooms feature articles and furnishing that reflect the late 1800s. The displays this year feature antique lace, the Tuesday Painters and the Blandford room. Adjacent to the main building is a research area and the main office all surrounded by a park and children’s playground. Off site we feature a 1902 train station housing Station 20 Craft Shoppe, displays of boat building, Oak Island, Station memories, wrought iron work, Forman Hawboldt display and gold mining.
