The Cranbrook History Centre boasts an exceptional collection of restored railway cars, including the 1929 « Trans-Canada Limited » and the luxurious « Royal Alexandra Hall, » a restored grand cafe from Winnipeg’s Royal Alexandra Hotel. The museum also features a newly added Paleontology Gallery, showcasing fossils from the Fort Steele and Burgess Shale regions. Visitors can explore the history of rail travel through our impressive railway car collection, enjoy the popular miniature railway, and take guided train tours that highlight the museum’s unique offerings.
