The Daly House Museum is pleased to present a brand new permanent exhibit being unveiled during our “Gathering in the Garden: A Landscape Celebration” event on July 21st this summer. Tickets available now!
Set amidst the lush foliage and historic setting of The Daly House Museum and Victorian Garden, the “Gathering in the Garden” event will have a secret garden theme. It will be in the form of a cocktail party rather than a traditional sit-down occasion. Enjoy live music performed by local band the Promising Pigeons, a Silent Auction, and food catered by Komfort Kitchen.
The purpose of this event is to help raise critically-needed funds to support the Museum and Garden. Funds will further the Daly House Museum’s mission of being a repository of the community’s memories, culture, and a community gathering place. This year, the Daly House is also celebrating the 140th Anniversary of Brandon’s last pre-1900 house located on 18th Street.
The grand feature of this evening will be the unveiling of a new permanent outdoor exhibit, “A Landscape History”, that explores the history of the Museum site from pre-settlement to modern times.
