The North Lanark Regional Museum tells the stories of the North Lanark Region through the collection, preservation, and presentation of artefacts, culture, and local history. We encourage the public to experience their unique heritage through inspiring museum programs, special events, and a readily accessible local history and genealogical collection.
The Museum features upper and lower level exhibition spaces. The upper level features rotating exhibits throughout the year, showcasing some of the most interesting items in the collection. The lower level features semi-permanent displays about the local history of North Lanark, including a replica post office, general store, and blacksmith shop. And don’t forget to ask for a tour of the pioneer log cabin on site! The North Lanark Regional Museum is the perfect destination for the whole family!
