At Lang Pioneer Village Museum, Peterborough County’s history is brought to life as you are welcomed into the 30 homes and businesses located in the picturesque village. Costumed interpreters tell the settler story as they demonstrate traditional chores, trades and pastimes. See one of only a handful authentic Jacquard looms in North America, discover the authentic experience of the First Nations at Aabnaabin Camp, explore a working 173-year old Grist Mill and so much more.
This summer, the Museum is offering Pre-Booked Guided Tours to ensure a safe visit for all our guests. Tours are valid for up to 9 people from one social circle and include a 45-minute private guided tour of some of the homes and businesses in the historic village and an additional hour to explore the Museum’s other 25 historic buildings, artifacts and exhibits. Please visit our website for details or to book your Pre-Booked Guided Tour.
It’s where history is happening safely!
