Does the sound of bagpipes stir your soul? Join us under the pines as David McDougal, our resident piper from the Moncton District Pipes and Drums entertains on Sunday afternoons all summer long. Bring your lawn chair and a picnic and make it a full day affair. The acoustics are amazing, David has been known to meander the along the trails as his melodious notes flat atop the sparkling Miramichi River that cradles the shores of the Point. Join William Davidson Miramichi’s illustrious Founding Father as he takes you on an impromptu personal tour of his beloved Point. Meet him in front of the little church’ and listen to his tales of triumph and defeat, then follow along with his as he tours the St. James Church replica, trading post and historic graveyard where you will learn interesting tidbits of it’s residents and see William’s’ s final resting place. Tours begin when you arrive. Did we mention admission is free but the experience is priceless. Sundays 2-4 July – August and 1-4 September to October
