Hands on History – Two nations were brought together by the European fashion demands which created and sustained the longevity of the fur trade. The Hands on History program gives a glimpse into the lives of the First Nations, Métis and European people at Fort Carlton in the 1800s. Students will visit the tipi encampment and tour the entire fort. Activities include examining trade goods, First Nations artifacts and participating in fur baling.
