First the Ward School, then Trinity Street School, the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse is a little building with a big history. Built by local brewer Enoch Turner in 1848, it was the first free school in the city, and served the children of working-class Corktown for a decade.
Visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour through the salon and historic schoolroom and get a glimpse of what life was like for kids, circa 1858.
There will be crafts and activities available for children of all ages.
