Holyrood Museum and Gallery

This museum reflects the history and culture of Conception Bay Center and the province in general. A large collection of a variety of artifacts are displayed and fascinating stories of the history of the area leave visitors in awe. Eleven rooms contain themes from drama and music to the fishery and a room of remembrance honoring veterans. The Gerry Squires RCA Memorial Gallery is a newly renovated space on the second floor featuring the art and life of Gerry Squires. He is an internationally recognized prolific artist who lived in Holyrood for many years until his death in 2015. This facility is the official source for the sale of Gerry Squires art. Many local artists are featured throughout the museum- in our exhibits and in our gift shop. The building is wheelchair accessible. Visitors rave about our personal tours.
