Switzer’s Drugs was one of Edson’s very first businesses to open when the community was founded in 1910. It operated for over 110 years before it sadly closed its doors in 2024.
The vintage jars featured in the mural were proudly stored on a shelf in the pharmacy. They once contained natural, simple elements like cinnamon, aloes, fireweed, and other plants.
This mural design pays respect to the history of pharmacy and how far it has come over the years. It helps remind viewers of the influence nature plays in the pharmaceutical industry.
