Trochu and District Museum showcases history from the dinosaurs to indigenous cultures to the French settlers of the early 1900s to the many ethnic groups who followed. Boom times of the agriculture industry, coal mining, and oil and gas co-existed with down times caused by World Wars, pandemics, and the Great Depression. A prosperous community has survived and thrived and our museum tells the story.
