The Northern Rockies Museum of Culture and Heritage exists to present and preserve the history of Hinton and surrounding area. We are housed in Hinton’s original 1911 train station. Our family friendly, interactive exhibits cover the history of our local industries, railroads, resources, and people. Highlights include our model train, working telegraph, animal skulls, and gift shop. The grounds around the museum are a great place for a picnic; you can also check out our garden or the water table activity on our deck. Visit us to receive a friendly, personalized tour and learn about the history behind our beautiful mountain town: we look forward to meeting you!
