The Minto Armoury was completed in 1915. It is built in the Tudor Revival style. In January 1956, a fire broke out at the Minto Armoury and killed one member of the Winnipeg Fire Department. The damage to the building was repaired and the building remains in use to this day. It contains a drill hall and is home to several military reserve units.
