The Dundas Museum & Archives was founded in 1956 by local community members who loved Dundas and wanted to preserve its history.

Today, we are your award-winning community museum with a regional reach. Our collections, exhibits and events showcase how geography and history have unfolded in our unique Dundas Valley.

Our site includes the original 1956 purpose-built museum and the c.1873 Pirie House, which was attached via the atrium in 2013, as well as the c.1848 Doctor’s Office, moved to the grounds from its original location on King. St. West, Dundas.

As a place to gather, learn and discover, we invite visitors of all ages to experience these stories and help keep them alive.
