In his ninety-three years, Charles MacDonald was a sailor, a sculptor, a builder, a manufacturer, and a socialist. The Charles MacDonald House of Centreville Society celebrates the life and work of this exceptional Nova Scotian. His house is now used to display his beautiful works of art that range from landscape artwork, to his wondrous sculptures that fill the property, his concrete house decor and details surrounding the house. Charles home is his biggest piece of artwork and perfectly shows his endless imagination.
Inside the house there is the Legge Art Gallery which is displays local artist works without cost. The Charles MacDonald House of Centerville Society encourages artist to pursue their passions just as Charles did.
