Located only a few minutes from the Hopewell Rocks is this historic 1845 “Shiretown” featuring 24 themed exhibits inside 8 original buildings located along the Bay of Fundy coastline.

Explore an industrious place of Ship Builders, Mining Moguls, Lumber Barons, Apple Kings, a Prime Minister, Sea Captains, a Victoria Cross Winner and a Pirate! Learn about our County, and the Land, Sea and People of this beautiful part of New Brunswick, Canada!

The Museum is located on a beautifully landscaped 6 acre site overlooking Shepody Bay, part of the amazing Bay of Fundy. Families who visit can go on a “Heritage Hunt” and by answering the trivia questions as they tour the Albert County Museum they can open the antique treasure chest and pick out a great prize!
