Memory Lane Heritage Village is an award winning living history museum depicting coastal rural life in Nova Scotia during the 1940s, including life during and after the Second World War.
The Heritage Village has 18 restored or replicated buildings and is open 7 days a week from June 1st to September 30th. It makes a great day trip east of Halifax along Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore and hosts many special events throughout the year, including the Cold Waters Seafood Festival in June, the Atlantic Canada Harmonica Festival in August, and the Nova Scotia Forest Festival & Axe-Throwing Competition in October.
