Tutta Musica Orchestra consists of almost sixty musicians who are the Teaching Artists and staff of Sistema NB – the highly successful El Sistema inspired program of the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra, Inc. (NBYO) which is one of the largest programs of its kind in North America.

As a professional orchestra with the versatility to break into smaller ensembles of differing instrumentation – from solo acts to full orchestra – we offer something that has not existed in New Brunswick until recently.  The ensemble strives to make live orchestral music more accessible, more engaging, and more relevant to more people throughout New Brunswick.

Tutta Musica brings an energizing, interactive dimension to musical shows and engages classically trained musicians in all types of musical arts including Acadian, blues, rock and roll, opera, traditional fiddle, contemporary, Latin, and more.  The orchestra in its many forms collaborates with artists in creative writing, comedy, theatre, and dance and creates original works, featuring New Brunswick themes, culture, and people.  Tutta Musica Orchestra enriches an already vibrant New Brunswick arts and music scene as inspirational performers.

MIRAMICHI STRING QUARTET

The Miramichi String Quartet is a chamber ensemble of the Tutta Musica Orchestra consisting of four Sistema NB Teaching Artists. These highly skilled professional musicians blend teaching and performing and are becoming a sought-after ensemble in the Miramichi region. With a broad musical repertoire that includes everything from classical and baroque to Latin-American and tangos (and even Celtic!), the quartet shifts easily between genres and takes their audiences on an enjoyable musical voyage.  The goal is always to delight the audience while showcasing and celebrating music together.

East Coast Brass

East Coast Brass is a chamber ensemble of Tutta Musica Orchestra, a professional orchestra comprised of the Teaching Artists of Sistema NB. These musicians create entertaining and engaging experiences for audiences and provides high quality musical education to aspiring brass musicians across New Brunswick and beyond. Our style is a mixture of classical, jazz, pop and new compositions and our goal is to make the repertoire meaningful, approachable and fun. The core members of East Coast Brass form a brass quintet:

trumpet – Conor Conway (Ottawa, ON)

trumpet – Sarah Devlin (Ottawa, ON)

French horn – Jonathan Astley (Lloydminster, AB)

Trombone – Kimberley Conway (Hammonds Plains, NS)

Tuba – Gabrielle Carruthers (Bathurst, NB).
